Cookie Policy
We keep cookies to a minimum. Nothing that tracks you loads until you say yes — and you can change your mind any time.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies such as your browser’s local storage. They help the site work and, with your permission, help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Your choice comes first
When you first visit, a banner asks how you’d like us to use cookies. We apply Google Consent Mode v2: until you opt in, analytics and marketing tags are not loaded and set no cookies. You can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Choose exactly what to allow — and you can reopen your choices at any time using the link below or in the footer of every page.
The cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
Required for the site to function and to remember your privacy choice. These do not track you.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
npc_consent | NextPage (first-party) | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics / marketing on or off) | 180 days |
npc_consent_v1 (local storage) | NextPage (first-party) | Stores the detail of your consent choice and its date | Until cleared |
2. Analytics (only with your consent)
Help us see which pages are most useful to Filipinos planning an Australian move, so we can improve them. IP addresses are anonymised.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes anonymous visitors | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Google Analytics 4 | Maintains session state | Up to 2 years |
3. Marketing (only with your consent)
Let us measure our campaigns and share relevant updates with people like you. No marketing tag loads unless you allow it.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta (Facebook) Pixel | Measures ad effectiveness and audience reach | Up to 3 months |
fbc / click ID | Meta (Facebook) Pixel | Attributes a visit to a Facebook ad click | Up to 3 months |
Third-party providers may set additional cookies subject to their own policies — see Google’s and Meta’s privacy and cookie notices for details. Our embedded enquiry/booking form (if used) may also set cookies needed to operate that form.
How to manage cookies
- Use our cookie preferences panel at any time (also in the footer of every page).
- Change or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies and warn you before accepting new ones.
- Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working, and we will need to ask for your choice again.

This Cookie Policy works alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information more broadly. If you have any questions, email admin.ph@visaalliance.com.
